Aristotle's Translation of Rabies

The first written reference we have of rabes is in the eshnuna code from roughly two thousand b c e. Aristotle wrote that dogs suffer from three diseases, rabes, quincey and sore feet. People have known that rabies was essentially always fatal for thousands of years. In addition to being lethal, rabes progresses in a way that can be really terrifying.
