Friendships in the Moment of Greatest Loss and Affliction
Aristotle again comes up to the edge of it, but he can't quite see it. It's a little bizarre for him to say that your best friendships could be born in the moment of greatest loss and affliction and tragedy. That was certainly true for Jesus and the disciples. They only really started to become the friends he needed after his death and resurrection. There's a lot to do with grace working there, but also them going through the experience of Good Friday and Holy Saturday.
