Climate Change and the Paris Agreement

The paris agreement has virtually no enforcement power. There is just not much to make sure that anything happens under the paris agreement, beyond some sort of commitment to multe lateralism. The energy charter treaty, or the united states mexico canada agreement, nafta, two point o, which protect the right of investors, not even companies, to sue sovereign governments if they threaten profits. And there's nothing like that to enforce climate rules.
