I think that there's a more interesting way to read anti-edipist as a as a Lacanian text, right? As a kind of left Lacanian project. But I find it really boring and unreadable. It is hard. And I think that it can lead to a kind of hermeticism. We're in a phase of incredible Puritan backlash. Is there a way of talking about pleasure and libido in academia that's adequate to it? I'm not sure.
