The Importance of Whistle Languages

There are at least 40 natural Whistle registers documented. There are probably a lot more in existence that just have not yet been documented in the scientific literature or that have existed throughout history and died out without having any record of them preserved. So this gives you an example of like what a conversation can sound like in a Whistle language. And it's interesting to me because I remember talking to my advisor once and mentioning Whistle Languages and he said he didn't believe that those existed.
