Is There Just One Flood That Inspired the Biblical Narrative?

Even to day, people sometimes combine different stories to produce an overall narrative. Does there have to be just one flood that inspired the biblical narrative? Not necessarily. If you read luke's version of the healing of the centurion's servant, you learn that the centurion himself did not come to meet jesus. Or if the biblical narrative involves osit elements, then noah could be a composite based on the survivors of different floods. Either way, there would be a historical reality behind noah. It's just a quest, is it a single figure, or is it a composite of several figures?
