An hour of work in the agriculture or manufacturing sector was off the charts. More dangerous than an hour of work for an unskilled laborer, right? And and that is not even counting the fact that if you were injured, the medical thing, the medical remedis available to you. Up until ppasenly, antibiotics were of limited utility. Eythere like a very long list of things that make unskilled labor less demeaning, less gruelling, a less dangerous then.
