How a Nurse Can Help a Patient With an Epidural
When a patient has an epidural, our job doesn't stop. We're not supposed to be sitting out in the nurses station just charging on the heart rate and youo, having the computer open. By changing positions frequently and helping the patient right, is using things like the peanot ball. And we know that if the baby's head is not engaged in an optimal position, it can make the labor process longer. It can sometimes be the difference between the baby coming out from the vagina and having a cease action. With labor, the patient nurse ratio tends to be a lot smaller. So they're many times when i will just have one patient and really give that patient 90 %
