The Impossibility of Turning Lead Into Gold
The Sardiner represents the north star, or the star that you plot your course by. It's an interesting metaphor because as soon as you move towards the star, you very often seem to lose sight of it. I think anything of value is probably impossible, or it feels impossible. But without that gold, you wouldn't discover all the things you try to do. Without that, we don't know what to do with life.
