The Importance of Repetition in Songwriting
I like when a phrase can be repeated over and over in a song, yet it means something different as the song progresses. A lot of my songs that don't have a chorus at all. Because I just feel like I've got more to say to get the story out. It makes perfect sense that they would say, wild horses couldn't drag me away multiple times. But yeah, sometimes it's just not occurred to me.
