Shea's Poison Ivy
Shea wrote Poison Ivy with her then-husband and producing partner, David Rubin. She shot the movie in 1991, and just barely finished it in time to premiere at the 1992 Sundance Film Festival. In one scene, Ivy has sex with Cooper's dad in his bed next to his sleeping wife. Shea concluded, I think the term politically correct is new speak for fascism.
