The US-China Relationship With Israel Is a Source of Instability
Israel is very dependent on this American relationship, despite everything it's done elsewhere. The one area where there was serious tension under Trump in the relationship with Israel was to get the Israelis to cancel certain major infrastructure projects that Chinese had. All of this is happening while there is a Palestinian leadership in place, which is reliant on Israel and reliant on America. And they're desperate to keep those guys in place because they know that what you said that they're not popular in the Arab world can change.
