Is There Really a Good Way to Reproduce That in Development?
The amount of requests in development is minuscule compared to what we get in production. Facebook actually does something very similar. Netflix has got, goes so far as they create new server images. And Etsy's talked a lot about this approach. You have to push it out to prod to get to that point.
