Is It a Bayesian Process or a Simple Reputation?
Popper's idea of falsification, rules in science is oversimplified. Do scientists try to falsify their hypothesis or are they more Bayesian? I think it's a little bit of both, but the naive interpretation of Popper oversimplifies it. But one point I make in my book is that the scientific method has been touted too much as something special.
