What's the Difference Between a PhD and a MA in German Studies?

The acknowledgments hit me pretty hard in a pretty wild way. It appears to have only published articles and books literally in German and buckles has an MA right in German studies something like that I think so. She quotes she quotes German authors untranslated multiple times in this dissertation. Yeah, but yeah so it's kind of a weird even in its formation, and in the way that it kind of makes its way into the academic world it's coming from an angle that perhaps is surprising.
