I think the tone of comic book movies in a movie was really like the first great thing Marvel did. I, there was an attempt to do something quite original with that movie, which I think doesn't hold up very well. Robert Downey Jr. is just great Iron Man and his acting is great; they nailed it. There's some unifying principle around how to balance humor and serious themes,. Like, you know,There are lots of people dying in these movies, I sort of think about parents and laws and being abandoned. So yeah, and also casting.
