The Bishop's Authority
Bishops have a level of authority. They have the authority to govern that essentially in so many ways, again, as I said, the last word. Every bishop is called not only to exercise their teaching office, sanctifying office, and governing office, but every bishop is also called to keep in mind Jesus who did not come to be served, but to serve. We're going to hear about that today. So let's say a prayer for other in heaven. Lord God, you have called them from all eternity to serve. And please bless every person listening to this, that all of us may be led.
