Sally Kohn: I have a question on Anskom's quartet. For those listeners who don't know what it is, it's sort of a toy example to demonstrate why visualization is cool. You can have the same statistical summary, and the data looks very different. She asks if statistics tell us a hidden message or something that you're aware of anything like that?Kohn: One thing might be like sometimes we like fat tail distributions are really hard to see, but easy to understand.
