I didn't ever ro up thinking i would have a roll like deputy administrator of nassau. So i took it very seriously. I had studied it, and i knew that i just had this unique responsibility to take it on. And for people listening who see themselves and your rule in the future, or approaching a similar situation in their organization, about what builds confidence in both the idea and the ability to withstand the professional and personal fall out by sometimes being unpopular for an idea you believe in.
