The Disconnect Between American Interventionism and American Alliances
The difference is 20 percentage points at least. The sort of elite class, elite political class, journalistic class, about US interventionism and US alliances with other countries is always 20 percentage points higher than the public at large. They tend to be a lot less supportive except in the micro moment of the heat of war in March of May of 2003,. You'll get a lot of pro war sentiment, but it'll evaporate pretty quickly. By the end of Afghanistan, adventure, you know, it was the most long, unpopular war in American history.
