I think being super generous with early employee equity and getting founder quality people is the first 10 employees. I have found that it's harder to convince founders of this than I would have expected. A hundred percent agree that this ends up being the single most important thing in the first six months of a company. And yet almost no one does. There's like a huge edge if you're willing to do it.
