I think in general, Gen Z is just doing less, having less experiences. We're just less likely to go out and do things like this. And they're using all of these kind of parasocial marketing tactics to get you to think that you're their friend. It's not a real connection. No. But it gives you sort of a quick hit of that sense of connection. So I can see why people do it but I think that kind of instant hit wears off. Often those communities will drop you as soon as you don't meet what they're talking about.
