Are Repentance and Faith Your Gifts to God?

In the calvinistic view, even the faith you have to believe in jesus was not something you produced. The ability for you to repent of your sins was also a gift given to you regeneration and it didn't come from within your own abilities. Your believing comes before your being born again. And repentance and faith are not gifts that god gives you. They're gifts you give to god. Some calvinist have the problem with the himn i have decided to follow jesus. I have decided to followed jesus because as a dead sinner, the holy spirit regenerated me and overcame the bondage of my will so that i was able to decide for christ.
