Some of those ideas are very natural in sort of a functional programming framework but they're their ideas that you nevertheless have to learn. i've set myself for the next year or so is to kind of write down something about what is neededwhat one needs to learn to learn computational thinking. What kinds of facts and principles and ideas one needs to learning? I think arum is also asking about some how did people think about programming.
