How Do You Create a Fantasy World?
i still don't really think of myself as doing world building, because i haven't done the full on secondary world fantasy. Bcause then it's just a matter of, like, i know that people have a vague image in their head when you say m disney castle or 19 17. And so then you'r sort of playing off of this image that's already been conjured. The details you mention are only the ones that are either going to deepen or contradict that conjured picture. I love how they straggle that line between contemporary and fantastical setting. Seamlessly.
