The Distinctive Audience of Mission

Sally Kohn: It seems like the decline of foreign missions within evangelical context is concurrent with a movement from people into urban areas. How do we tease apart these different elements, the different objects of evangelistic or a missional task and maybe arrive at a clearer, more defined concept of mission through that? She says it's easy to think of mission as being very distinctive when you're going overseas to a place where nobody's Christian,. But in many contexts, given evangelicalism's supposed conversionism, there is this impulse towards bringing people to the point of decision and choice for Christ.
