Revolts in New Spain During the Bourbon Period

Newspaper series looks at the rise and fall of mexico's ruling class. The first revolt brought together all classes and castes for the first time. In 17 80, another cross class revolt erupted down in pueblo southeast of mex Mexico city. After its peak as the first empire upon which the sun never set in the mid 15 hundreds, the spanish crown had had all its european possessions either given away or chopped off by the beginning of the bourbon era.
