How Did You Get Into Knife Making?
I started making knives when I was high school shop projects in the mid 1970s, mid to late 1970s and back then you could make knives in school. And it just kind of fell in as I liked to build things and had a long background as a kid. It was just a natural flow into researching and then learning to build equipment and just moved on from there. There's so many questions about that Hawk, but I think part of understanding that Hawk and understanding its importance and how it was designed and everything that goes into it is understanding you and your history.
