Cohn lived with his mother in her home until her death in 1967. The door to his bedroom held a name plate that spelled out Roy in the Disney font. He collected hundreds of stuffed frogs and had weird exotic pets including at least one llama. In 1964 he was indicted for obstructing justice to get his client off for stock fraud. Unlike his protege Donald Trump Roy was capable of deep in abiding loyalty.
