Elizabeth is visiting her aunt and uncle who she likes very much in her aunt in particular is a a straight shooter or somebody who can she who she can talk honestly with. Those those characters are important in this book to Elizabeth like the the people she can be totally honest with are Jane and her aunt okay. They sort of understand each other because they both kind of come to realize the ways in which they've been unfair to each other. She really doesn't have anything to lose or gain from them in any conversation i think she just she feels close to them and she like values their input like Lydia is always thinking about getting married and Mr. Darcy wasn't even supposed to be there
This week, we take another run at Jane Austen. Pride and Prejudice is, in Andrew's words, "a book where a bunch of people eventually get married to each other.
"It's also more than that, of course—it gives us an opportunity to talk about class, wealth, social standing, love, the institution of marriage, Milton Bradley jingles, and one Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy (Fitzy to his friends).
