Introduction
The symptoms of political correctness are now well known. Hyper sensitivity to perceive slights, vicious verbal attacks on one's ideological enemies and even deviants within one's own ranks. Within many university courses, especially in the humanities and some parts of the social sciences, the reading lists are very narrow idealogically. Other sides of debates are excluded. Ortho y of opinion is enforced. Speakers from wrong perspectives are disinvited by a protest. Those who are invited get shouted down, threatened. In some cases, they are physically coerced. And sometimes it's professors who are doing the imposing of ideological narrowness. But increasingly, particularly in the last decade, it's been students demanding
