Introduction
Short Stories as Exploration with Tana Riefdo. Don't worry if you're not writing saleable short fiction. If it fails, no biggie. You haven't spent five or six years of your life on it. As an artist, I can't afford to commit a full week of strip art to something that is truly experimental. But in the sketchbook, I will often do things that are very experimental and they fit that same bill. We'll be talking a lot about short stories this year on Writing Excuses.
