Is the Timing Accelerating the Financial Crisis?
In 2008, the Fed introduced cash from 2008 to 2014. Then they started raising interest rates in 2015, but they didn't change the balance sheet until 2017. Well, they put 5 trillion in the system over a two year period versus 3.6 trillion over a five-year period. And then that had set off this, I mean, realistically, it was a cumulative buildup of all the money that they've printed over decades,. But it gets exacerbated when you start withdrawing liquidity faster than expected.
