Cameron Crow was coming off of Jerry McGuire. He had the juice to make almost famous and it's an expensive movie for what it is. I find Cameron Crow fascinating just as a music fan, you know, movies like singles or even movies like say anything which aren't really about music but where music plays such a huge role. This movie might be one of the reasons Frances McDormand became one of my favorite actors. Not everyone can just complete this character and like blow your mind with like how good the performance is.
