The Role of the Data Matrix

The role that matrixes play in our world. One is it's going to serve as an agent of transformation for other things. Think about two variables of them that are uncorrelated, that they have no relation to one another. While those vectors are at 90 degrees, they go off forever, never to meet. They're perpendicular, or as we say, orthogonal. As they get a little bit mor related, there's a single vector needed to run through those because one is a carbon copy of the other. So standardization is a really help fu thing,. just in terms of imagining all these vectors heading out the same distance.
