I wanted fame and influence in this time right and I worked so freaking hard to try and attain it and was just totally thwarted by god. God took the littleest of our actions and used them to bear more fruit than we could ever imagine doing by our own hand. The posture that Christians ought to take is like okay service first, not necessarily to glorify yourself but to glorify God. You never know how God can use you in the biggest ways when you approach life from a position of humility. It's good to have great ambition for the kingdom but the most important thing is to focus on humbly being in service to God every single day in our lives.
