There were conscious choices made to allow companies to move jobs out of the United States and therefore change communities in the country. Most Americans did not decide about these decisions, but they have very far reaching implications for how our country is working. The people affected by this, their interests were either never even taken into account where their voices at least were never heard when this happened. But at the same time, the management classes have benefited greatly from this.
