When you pronate correctly, you get a better firing pattern up the chain as well. I look at it almost is in a similar way to like like barbell hip thrust exercise. The more you understand joints, the less that you have to have everybody do those things. And when those joints and bone structures move in the proper way, well, the muscles that attach to them are going to behave the way they should rather than chasing one muscle.
