Federalism Is Misunderstood
i think that federalism is misunderstood because there are many ways in which individual liberty and individual rights can be suppressed orr overturned. In american history, you see exactly the same a problem. Who is it that was responsible for the suppression of the rights of african Americans both before and after the civil war? It wasn't the national government. And so sometimes you got to get the federal authorities to intervene.
