Open office space sucks for getting anything done because you can see other people in your periphery. And then on top of that, you will naturally be self conscious if your computer is in the view of other people.

Before, power was a function of the organizational structure or buildings, now it's a function of ability or what you do, because it's much easier to show usefulness.
