It's another one of these things that makes me wary of the people who are working in education research because you know I suppose you shouldn't take these things on authority. There's a kind of ideological bent to to so much stuff about education where people won't accept certain scientific ideas if it goes against essentially their ideology which in this case appears to be progressive educational ideology. This is something that I should definitely mention as something that I've had to deal with over seven years is there's that but also I've seen I've had like this turnaround away from it partly from reading Daisy Krista Dooloo and Dan Willingham.
