Interview With the Vampire
Neil Jordan's American gothic horror film based on Anne Rice's novel of the same name it focuses on Lestat and Louie chronicling their time together. The narrative is framed by a present day interview in which Louie tells his story to a San Francisco reporter. It is organized much like the clinical psychotherapy setting with Louie opening up and sharing details of his personal experiences. His answers are emotionally honest and eagerly documented this soul bearing process places us in the mindset of forensically examining what is essentially a life of crime undead creatures crossing national borders and centuries never quite integrating anywhere but leaving piles of bodies in their wake.
