How to Find the Absolute Minimum of the Landscape
In biological evolution, it's as if at every time a new organism with little random mutations is moving a small distance randomly on this landscape. And so that's why you end up with things that are sort of a sot of strange artifacts of the history of life. Why do we have the folds in our ears, for example? There has to be a good reason. I mean, sometimes it's a challenge because sometimes you take the sort of, the, you just take it for granted that biological evolution knows best - and e e can lead to very weird conclusions.
