Drupal 9 still support Internet Explorer, which means that we cannot use cool things like CSS variables or native. There was so much stuff that we couldn't do because it just never got into Internet Explorer. Because Internet Explorer is not an evergreen browser,. It never got updates except for with the operating system where now you have Chrome and it says in the corner of your Chrome update.
