I am increasingly convinced that it's not knowable what the outcomes are for companies like at the very beginning. How markets play out is unknowable because there are actors with agency determining how the market is structured. I'm much more comfortable without knowing exactly how things are going to play out now or have been taught that so I think this is why reserves are complete bulls**t. No multi-stage firm is perfect underwriting their own portfolio and we're gonna leave money on the table in the later rounds of a company. We make bets when we're aligned with the entrepreneur and we're not gonna grow our ownership from there but we're also not going to be distracted by this question
