The Three Basic Brain Systems for Mating and Reproduction

Three brain systems, sex drive, romantic love and feelings of deep attachment. The three basic brain systems evolve to do different things. I mean, the sex drive evolved to get you out there looking for a whole range of partners,. You can have sex with somebody you're not in love with. Romantic love enables you to focus your mating energy on just one individual at a time. And that third feeling er, that brain system for attachment, evolved to enable you to stick with this person, at least long enough to raise a single child together.
