Building Robotic Brains
Spending four years working in a robotic company gave me an appreciation of how hard it is to solve well. And that you think that there are principles from the brain that are important, right to a incorporate. So i could hear echoes of our r professors at pit saying things like wen, one said that cortex is predicting what's going to happen next,. There was this one thing that just echoed in my mind, and you realized that that sense of constantly predicting what happens next could be very valuable as a sort of computational driving force for the things to learn good representations. But also facing the problems and challenges and realizing that we can't use labels. This isn't a supervise learning problem
