I was like, it would be very hard to make her such a sincere and good character. We need to see her process of what she's doing to believe she's actually good. Her lack of agency in the beginning actually works to her empathy. It was almost forced upon her to do it this way. If we didn't see that stuff, she wouldn't be virtuous as she is in the end.
