Is Volume Support a Better Choice for a Patient?
volume support is a way to guarantee a volume for each breath. It's not guaranteed because the pressure may not allow it to get there. I have found that patients are more comfortable on volume support than on precious board. And i don't have a good physiologica explanation for that.
