Mummy brown was grounded mummy and then it was made into well it was made from medicinal purposes as well. So if you go to your local art institution you might see usually paintings in the middle ages and early modern period that might have incorporated mummy brown paint. But it's grounded mummies. Obviously they would have to dig them up and then turn into the pigment.
